My skin can feel super dry during the winter months and the below tips usually help in

keeping my skin hydrated and glowing. I have linked some of my favourite products to use.

1) Shower oils. The use of shower/ bath oils used to be much more common in parts of the world like South East Asia (I guess they started the trend). Water and oil mixed together cause a deeper penetration into the skin. Oils are also more likely to improve blood circulation, the collagen in our skin supple and just an overall healthier glow.

2) Exfoliator/Body scrub. There are so many benefits in using a body scrub or exfoliator. Some of the benefits include the removal of dead skin cells, diminishing scarring and hyper-pigmentation, cellulite and bringing back that hydration inthe skin.

Upcircle beauty coffee scrub.

3) Body oil. Suitable for all skin types, body oils can be an amazing replacement for a moisturiser. I tend to mix body oils and moisturisers together however if I am only using a body oil, I will apply it at night. Oils protect the skin's lipid barrier and are great in preventing moisture from leaving the skin.

When choosing a body oil lookout for dry oils in particular as they absorb into the skin better meaning that you get more of that goodness directly into your skin.

4)Lotion/Moisturiser Designed to penetrate the skin a good moisturiser will leave your skin softer, hydrated.

5)Lip Balm and scrubs. Lip care is probably the last thing on anyone's mind when it comes to skin care however is as equally important. Scrubs and Lip Balms are the best way to treating dry lips and making sure they stay moisturised.

TIP: When using a body oil ensure you apply the oil directly after getting out of the bath/shower. This helps the oil to penetrate and absorb into your skin better.
